In continuation of the program to celebrate World Environment Day, which falls on June 5, 2024, at the University of Skikda, this morning the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, represented by the laboratory of psychological and educational studies and consultations, in coordination with the Skikda Sea Stars Association, organized the activities of the academic day tagged with: “The problem of environmental pollution in Algerian society.” - The city of Skikda is a model -
The scientific session was then launched with various interventions by professors and specialists, which dealt in their entirety with the mechanisms for activating environmental citizenship and environmental education. The problem of coastal pollution at the level of Skikda Province was also addressed, and examples of the plastic recycling process and how to recover it were presented at the level of Skikda University.
Before distributing certificates of thanks and appreciation to all those involved, the meeting concluded with reading some recommendations after discussing them.
