Within the framework of the celebration of World Environment Day, which falls on June 5, 2024, and coinciding with the academic day marked by the problem of environmental pollution in Algerian society - the city of Skikda as an example - the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, represented by the laboratory of psychological and educational studies and consultations, in coordination with the Skikda Sea Stars Association, organized a campaign Sensitization and awareness raising to protect the environment through cleaning the college’s external surroundings at the level of green spaces, under the supervision of the university’s director, Professor Boufendi Tawfiq, and the participation of all of the university’s administrators, professors, employees, workers, and students.
In his speech, the University Rector extended his thanks to all participants in this campaign, hoping to repeat this initiative in the future.
This initiative comes within the framework of keenness to make the university an example of environmental awareness and responsibility, as well as urging students to preserve their surroundings, have a spirit of responsibility, and contribute to the cleanliness of the university’s aesthetic environment.
