In the context of the challenges and recent developments taking place in our country regarding precautionary and accounting standards with regard to improving the financial performance of the banking and insurance sector, this morning the Faculty of Economic, Commercial and Management Sciences organized the Department of Financial and Accounting Sciences.
In cooperation with the PRFU research project team, the ECOFIMA laboratory of the University of Skikda, and the laboratory of business management of sustainable economic institutions of the University of the Valley, in the Grand Lecture Hall, Abdel Hamid Mahri, activities of the National Forum on: “Requirements for improving the financial performance of the banking and insurance sector in light of recent developments in precautionary and accounting standards.”
The Deputy Director in charge of Pedagogy, Professor Fares Bouhdid, representing the University President: Professor Bufandi Tawfiq, supervised the opening of the forum, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Economic, Commercial and Management Sciences, Professor Kimouche Bilal, and the President of the Forum, Dr. Sawsan Zirq, in the presence of a number of professors and students interested in the subject.
During the activities of this forum, workshops and interventions were presented, in person and via remote lecture technology, by professors from various universities in the country, who emphasized in their contributions the most important implications that build precautionary and accounting standards on the financial performance of Algerian banks and insurance, in light of recent international developments. It was also highlighted Highlighting the various mechanisms for adapting banks and insurance in Algeria and highlighting accounting developments at the international level to improve the performance of banks and insurance in Algeria.
