An inspection visit by the university director to the central university library at night
The University Rector, Professor Bufandi Tawfiq, accompanied by the Deputy Director in charge of post-graduation and the third stage, Prof. Dr. Mazgari Al-Yamin, supervised an inspection visit to the central university library, in order to inspect the conditions and atmosphere of the library’s night shift. This visit comes as an embodiment of the new ministerial instruction related to extending the opening times of some facilities of higher education institutions. Until ten o'clock at night, especially including the university library, research laboratories, and the university incubator. This is to ensure that the higher education institution remains in a state of continuous activity in accordance with what is required by the specificity of university life, especially the pedagogical and research aspect.The University Rector received from the Central Library Director, Mohamed Fathi Mazghish, comprehensive explanations on the program prepared for this operation and the shift staff dedicated to ensuring that the central library is open until ten at night. The University Rector also inspected the bibliographic research hall, the lending bank, and the reading room.The University Rector stressed to the Library Director and his administrative staff the necessity of respecting the new time and carrying out a wide media campaign for students so that they can benefit from the library space according to this new time, which is added to the normal daylight time.At the conclusion of the visit, the university director extended his thanks to all the administrative staff of the library, in return for their efforts to serve the student and advance the university.
